Father, the course that you have set before us is clear. You have called us into REIF to respond to the many prayer requests we receive from those who need agreement. Jesus you are the vine and we are the branches, we remain in you and you remain in us, and our prayers bear much fruit: apart from you, we can do nothing.
Lord we obey your Word that says “ Come unto me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest”. We take your yoke upon us this day and learn from you, for you are gentle and kind, and we find our rest in you. Your yoke is easy, and your burden is light.
Lord you said that we ought always to pray and not lose heart or give up. We declare today we are earnest, unwearied, alert with thanksgiving and steadfast in our prayers.
Therefore since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, we throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily besets us, we run with perseverance the race marked before us. We fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Who for the joy set before Him endured the cross and its shame, and sat down at the right hand of God. We consider Him who endured such opposition, so we will not grow weary and not lose heart during our times of intercession today.
